Jacob Brawer
Jacob is an experience designer and creative technologist devoted to holistic well-being and embodied presence.
He creates multisensory environments that foster connection, regulation, and self-awareness — blending biosensing, wearable tech, and ambient design. His work spans interactive installations and facilitated practices like Body Cartography — a guided exploration of the inner landscape through sensation, movement, mapping, and reflection.
Jacob’s work bridges inner awareness and outer experience — weaving somatic practice, biofeedback, brain-computer interfacing, and multimedia design into spaces that invite presence, reflection, and embodied insight. Drawing from the body’s own intelligence, he creates environments where sensation becomes signal, and healing becomes experiential.
SELECT WORKS
Breath is universal. Whatever your practice is to connect with yourself - meditation, breath work, yoga, journaling, etc. - breath is a critical component to the experience. In this installation, we expand your breath to fill the room.
Room to [Breathe] allows you to visualize your breath by connecting respiration wearable devices to LEDs that animates the room to breath with you.

The Lightboxes are ambient, living sculptures—designed to support stillness, attunement, and shared presence. More than objects, they feel like beings: quiet witnesses that shape space through breath-like rhythms and gentle glow.
Created by AND THE SUN Studio, the Lightboxes invite a subtle kind of meeting—between your own inner light and the soft intelligence of another.
